Arlington ISD invites the community to review and provide feedback recommendations on instructional materials that the district is considering for adoption starting in the upcoming school year.
There are two upcoming opportunities:
Career and Technical Education Instructional Materials Public Viewing
The public can view the materials now online here or in person on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Mac Bernd Professional Development Center (PDC) room 604, located at 1111 W. Arbrook Blvd., Arlington, Texas 76015. The public viewing is an opportunity for community members, parents, students, and Arlington ISD personnel to view and interact with the instructional materials under consideration for CTE adoption for the following content areas and/or courses:

- Video Game Programing
- Sports & Entertainment Marketing I
- Sports & Entertainment Marketing II
- Social Media Marketing
- Advertising
Community members, parents, students, and Arlington ISD personnel should view the instructional materials with these three questions in mind:

- What do the instructional materials offer the students, teachers, and parents of Arlington ISD?
- How are the instructional materials designed and organized, including basic layout and components?
- How do the instructional materials prepare Arlington ISD students to graduate exceptionally prepared for college, career, and citizenship?
Online voting for all community members, parents, and Arlington ISD personnel will occur between 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2026, until Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
AP World Textbook Adoption Public Viewing
The public may review the Advanced Placement World History instructional materials being considered for adoption in person from Jan. 26 through Jan. 28, 2026, at the Arlington ISD Mac Bernd Professional Development Center located at 1111 W. Arbrook Blvd., Arlington, TX 76015, during the hours of 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (8 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Jan 28).
