It’s graduation season and we are celebrating the Class of 2025 valedictorian and salutatorian for all eight Arlington ISD high schools. Meet Lamar High School’s valedictorian Daniel Wehr.

〉What is one piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman?
Get involved with extracurriculars that help you get connected and give you experience in your interests.
〉What will you miss most about high school?
Being surrounded by familiar friends and teachers who have supported me since day one.
〉What are you most excited about after graduation?
Moving into a dorm and having the freedom to do whatever I want.
〉Who inspires you the most and why?
Each and every one of my Key Club officers. They have made it possible to revive a club with declining membership and have worked relentlessly towards creating a legacy for the future of Key Club at Lamar.
〉What’s your favorite high school memory?
Stopping at Bucee’s on the way to Austin and back when competing in Accounting UIL State.
