〉What is one piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman?
Stay organized from the very start. Use calendars, planners or reminder apps to track your assignments, responsibilities and events. It will help you stay on top of both school and life. They will keep you from falling apart.
〉What will you miss most about high school?
I will miss my friends the most. The moments I spent with friends brought color to my life and made experiencing high school worthwhile. I’ve gotten to continue friendships from elementary school and have made many more friends throughout high school. I will treasure each one of them and will miss them most when I leave high school.
〉What are you most excited about after graduation?
I am most excited about taking college classes to know what the big words in sci-fi movies mean.
〉Who inspires you the most and why?
The valedictorian, Alexis De La Torre, inspires me the most. We’ve kept a friendship and friendly rivalry throughout high school. He’s inspired me to keep on going and push myself further academically and sometimes athletically, too. He’s inspired me to keep going and has been a source of guidance and someone to fall back on when I’ve needed help.
〉What’s your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory is from senior sunset. It was an afternoon filled with tons of fun, which I got to spend with most of my friends. We dumped large buckets of cold water onto everyone and sprayed each other with water guns. By the time the sun set, everyone was wet.
