My Arlington ISD Parent Newsletter for May 2026

My Arlignton ISD Parent Newsletter

May 2026

It’s officially the busiest time of year! With only three weeks of school left, there are too many events, concerts, field trips, meetings, and finals to keep track of, but the most important thing is to complete your student’s registration online for next year!

Of course, if your student is a senior, you don’t need the registration link, you need the graduation page, where you can find all the graduation times and locations.

May 4-8 is also Teacher Appreciation Week. We’re so grateful for all of our educators and the dedication to students they’ve shown all year long!

As we sprint into May, please take a minute to review our last parent newsletter of the school year.

ELECTION DAY IS TOMORROW

Tomorrow, May 2, is election day. Please go vote if you haven’t already! Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Find a polling location close to you.

The ballot includes three propositions that are part of the 2026 Bond proposal. Learn about each one and how they would impact our schools at aisd.net/bond2026.

2026-2027 School Calendars

The calendar for next school year is set! Click on the links below to download the academic calendar.

* The High School A/B calendar is a little different next year than in years past. A days will be on Monday/Wednesday, and B days are Tuesday and Thursday. Fridays will alternate between A and B. This means the number of A days and B days are now identical. The new A/B calendar aligns with Tarrant County College’s schedule and will help our students enrolled in dual credit classes.
