10th Annual Back to School Kickoff is Near
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since the district started its annual Back to School Kickoff at AT&T Stadium, but Aug. 3 marks that milestone.
“We’ve helped nearly 100,000 families get ready for the school year, which is an amazing accomplishment that wouldn’t be possible without community volunteers and sponsor support,”said Aaron Perales, Arlington ISD executive director of engagement, equity, and access.
This in-person event offers students the opportunity to receive a free backpack full of school supplies and services in preparation for the 2024-25 school year. You can register for a backpack here.
Sponsored by the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation, the event will provide haircuts, dental services, vision screenings, information about community resources and immunization opportunities, as well as the chance for Arlington ISD students to receive a backpack full of school supplies.
Volunteers are also needed to help with checking in students and handing out backpacks. To volunteer, please sign up here.
See you at the 10th annual Back to School Kickoff!
