Unlock Your Potential: Arlington ISD Job Expo 2024

Are you looking for a job with purpose? Find it now in the Arlington ISD, where every employee plays a critical role in the education of more than 55,000 students every day. That includes our custodians and all facility service team members who work to ensure our students and teachers have great facilities to learn and teach in.

“We are looking to add team members who want the experience of a family environment with opportunities to grow and advance,” said Kelly Horn, assistant superintendent of facility services. “If you are ready to work for a company that can offer flexible scheduling, consistent (full-time and part-time) hours and good benefits – the Arlington ISD is excited for you to join our team!”

Join us at the Arlington ISD Job Expo on Feb. 1, from 5-7 p.m. at Webb Elementary School (1300 N. Cooper St., Arlington) for a chance to explore a variety of careers in the district and kickstart your career journey.

Custodians make big impact

In the Arlington ISD, we prioritize nurturing talent and fostering a culture of growth within a supportive and inclusive community. It’s a place where you can grow and stay for a long time. Like Maribel Uribe. She is a head custodian who has been with the district for 16 years.

“I love my job!” Uribe said. “It really is gratifying when people say thank you to me when I assist them. It makes me feel seen and productive. I also enjoy the district’s flexibility. Creating my schedule allows me to make time for my family, and I also enjoy the opportunities for overtime.”
