The next election is coming up soon, Nov. 5, and the last day to register to vote is this Monday, Oct. 7. Here’s what you need to know so you can be ready to cast your vote on Nov. 5.
Don’t forget the last day to register to vote is Monday
If you’re not already registered to vote, you need to do it by this Monday, Oct. 7, in order to be eligible to vote in the Nov. 5 election.
Postage-paid voter registration applications (for new registrations or updates) are available at the Tarrant County Elections Center, all Tarrant County sub courthouses, U.S. post offices, city halls, libraries and public assistance offices in Tarrant County. Or you can visit this link for the online application. You’ll need to print it out and either mail it or take it in person to:

If you mail your application, it must be postmarked by Oct. 7.

Early Voting Dates
You don’t have to wait until Nov. 5 to vote. Early voting starts Monday, Oct. 21, and lasts until Friday, Nov. 1. Click here to see the early voting poll locations and hours of operation.
Vote by Mail
Some people are eligible to vote by mail, but you must apply for this option by Friday, Oct. 25. Visit this link to see if you are eligible to vote by mail and to access the application.
Election Day
Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 5, and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Click this link to see the list of polling locations.
Don’t forget, Arlington ISD will be closed on election day as many polling locations are located at district schools.
