Help spread joy across Arlington
This holiday season, Arlington ISD and its incredible community partners are on a mission to bring smiles and joy to local children with our second-annual Mission Joy Toy Drive.
The drive benefits the Mission Arlington Christmas Store, a program that helps families in need create magical holiday memories.
Arlington ISD is proud to collaborate with the City of Arlington, the Arlington Fire Department, the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Texas Trust to make this vision a reality.
With collection boxes conveniently located throughout the city, including at many Arlington ISD campuses, Arlington fire stations, libraries, and more, it’s never been easier to join the effort. Simply donate a new, unwrapped toy for a boy or girl and help brighten someone’s holiday season.
Donations are being accepted now through Dec. 3, or you can drop off at the grand finale of the Mission Joy Toy Drive – a festive drive-thru toy drop-off celebration on Dec. 3, from 5-7 p.m., at the Dr. Marcelo Cavazos Center for Visual and Performing Arts.
It’s more than just a chance to give back – it’ll be a full holiday experience with live holiday music and entertainment from talented Arlington ISD students. Plus, Tillie Burgin, Mission Arlington’s executive director, and her team will be there.
The toys collected will stock the Mission Arlington Christmas Store to provide families in need with an opportunity to choose gifts for their loved ones.
Help us spread the word, and let’s come together as a community to ensure every child experiences the magic of the season. To find a drop-off location near you or learn more about the Mission Joy Toy Drive, click here.
