It’s graduation season and we are celebrating the Class of 2025 valedictorian and salutatorian for all eight Arlington ISD high schools. Meet Seguin High School’s valedictorian Bao Nguyen.

〉What is one piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman?
To any future freshman, don’t be afraid to take risks. Be yourself and do what suits you. Don’t be afraid to be different and make sure that you enjoy your high school life.
〉What will you miss most about high school?
The biggest thing that I would miss about high school is the people. The people you surround yourself with are what really create your high school experience. They gave me a reason to come to school and are the best part of the high school experience.
〉What are you most excited about after graduation?
I am most excited about pursuing a future career and meeting new people.
〉Who inspires you the most and why?
The thing that inspires me most are my parents. I want them to have a relaxing future and I want to be able to provide for them.
〉What’s your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory would probably be the days I spend in the library talking to my friends. Always having people to talk to is really refreshing and is something I will always be grateful for.
