Calling all pre-K and kindergarten families!

Arlington ISD’s early childhood learning department is inviting families to two exciting events this October designed to support early learners, build community, and spark curiosity. Both events are FREE and open to the community.

Early Learning Connections

Friday, Oct. 3, 9-11:30 a.m.
Arlington ISD Professional Development Center

Early Learning Connections are fun, practical workshops for the parents of pre-K and kindergarten children designed to help their little learners thrive. Parallel sessions will be offered in English and Spanish, with topics including:

    • Understanding Your Child’s Developmental Milestones and
    • Everyday Math and Literacy at Home.

Following the workshops, families will enjoy coffee, light refreshments, and social time, giving parents a chance to connect with one another and strengthen their support networks.

Pre-K and Kinder STEMtacular

Tuesday, Oct. 14, 6-8 p.m.
McNutt Elementary School

The Pre-K and Kinder STEMtacular is back in a new location for its third year. This superhero-themed event is bigger than ever, thanks to a partnership with the Fort Worth Museum of Science, which is bringing its Family STEAM Festival to Arlington. The fun includes hands-on activities, live science demonstrations, and interactive experiences for children and parents alike. Attendees who provide feedback will even receive free tickets to the museum.

The STEMtacular is exactly what the name says. It’s STEMtacular! And it’s free! So, get your little learners – and your whole family – dress up as superheroes and come out for a STEMtacular time with family.
