Navy Band’s national tour coming to Arlington
Whether you’re a music enthusiast, a proud veteran or a family looking for an exciting night out, the Arlington ISD Dr. Marcelo Cavazos Center for Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) has you covered.
Mark your calendars and get ready to be swept away by the majestic melodies of the United States Navy Concert Band!
As a part of their 2024 national tour, 170 enlisted musicians recruited from the finest music schools and professional organizations, will perform on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the CVPA for a FREE, unforgettable night.
From marches, patriotic selections and modern wind ensemble masterpieces, this family-friendly event aims to bridge the gap between citizens and the Navy.
“This is an amazing opportunity for our students, families and community to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” said Christopher Bryant, director of the CVPA. “The fact that it’s free makes it even better. We want to fill the CVPA.”
