Title I Family Engagement

The AISD Title I Family Engagement team is committed to building and sustaining meaningful partnerships with parents and schools.  We view parents and teachers as engaged partners who are committed to the educational growth of every student.  Only when parents and schools work together are students able to achieve their full academic potential.

All Title I campuses host family events throughout the school year.  The Family Engagement team works with each Title I campus in Arlington ISD in the planning of family engagement activities on their campuses.  For specific questions about your child's school, please contact the campus Family Engagement Liaison.

Our Philosophy

The purpose of Title I is to ensure that all children have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic assessments.

Title I funds are used to support a variety of activities and programs to ensure that AISD schools meet the challenge of rigorous curriculum for all students. In an effort to support families, we offer Parent Empowerment Workshops and Early Childhood Experiences.
