The Bowie High School baseball program received a significant boost for the future as it was awarded a $5,000 grant from the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation during a pregame ceremony Sept. 5.

The grant will help fund the purchase of a new pitching machine, machine balls, and practice baseballs, providing student-athletes with updated equipment to support training and player development.
Accepting the grant on behalf of the program were Booster Club president Shara Hill-Scheibner and junior baseball player Thor Scheibner, who represented Bowie baseball during the on-field presentation.
The award highlights the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation’s continued commitment to supporting youth baseball programs and creating opportunities for Arlington ISD student-athletes to grow their skills both on and off the field.
Thank you, Texas Rangers!
