WFAA reporter Matt Houston coming to Earth Day

On Saturday, April 20, the Arlington ISD Dan Dipert Career + Technical Education Center is the place to be to celebrate Earth Day!

Arlington ISD’s energy and facility rentals department will host the second annual Earth Day event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and transform the CTC into a hub of eco-friendly fun. And the best part? It’s FREE!

With displays and interactive activities from the River Legacy Living Science Center, City of Arlington Water Utilities, Tarrant Regional Water District, WFAA reporter Matt Houston, National Wildlife Federation and much more, there’s lots to learn about keeping the planet healthy.

And there will be entertainment, too! Adams Elementary will be out celebrating the special day with performances by their step team and choir. Get ready for games, demonstrations, crafts and a tree-planting shindig, too.

But wait, there’s more! Swag bags full of goodies, reusable bottles and a ticket for free beef hot dogs and chips will also be provided. Plus, don’t miss your shot at winning some sweet prizes in the quilt raffle.

So, mark your calendars and join us for a day full of fun, good vibes and working toward a greener tomorrow!
