Transfer applications due by April 16
Arlington ISD’s special transfer window for the 2026-27 school year is now open.
During this window, applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for students to transfer within or into the district if there is space available. That means students who are already in Arlington ISD can apply for a transfer to a different school, and students who live outside of the district can apply to attend an Arlington ISD school this fall. The window closes on April 16.
Pre-K transfer applications for in-district and out-of-district students are also accepted during this time.

Students who join us before high school can pursue specialized programs that begin with eighth-grade applications. Arlington ISD offers two early college high schools, four P-TECH pathways, and the STEM Academy at Martin High School, each designed to prepare students for college and careers.

Our campuses feature industry-level equipment and creative learning environments. The Dan Dipert Career + Technical Center gives juniors and seniors the chance to explore 68 CTE courses across 27 programs. The Dr. Marcelo Cavazos Center for Visual and Performing Arts provides professional-quality performance and creative spaces for every student to experience. The district also partners with local businesses and colleges to give students hands-on experiences that connect learning to life.
