International Baccalaureate (IB) is a rigorous academic program that emphasizes student initiative and independent study. The focus is on both academics and developing a global perspective of the world. IB challenges students academically and builds crucial skills necessary for college success. Crow Leadership Academy offers the PYP (Primary Year Program) of IB. Through the high school program, students can earn college credit through examination and have access to scholarship opportunities. Participation in the high school IB program begins at the junior year of high school.
AISD has four IB campuses, Arlington High, Bowie, Lamar, and Sam Houston. Additionally, students have the opportunity of taking IB Visual Arts at the Arlington ISD Center for Visual and Performing Arts.
Enrollment is open to all students interested in the program.
