The Budget and Finance Department is responsible for the coordination and development of the annual budget process and maintaining budget control during the year. The department is also responsible for the district’s investment and cash management duties as well as staff travel requests. The district is primarily invested in local government investment pools and follows the Board-approved investment policy. With regard to travel, our department reviews staff travel requests and monitors compliance with district travel policy. As a part of the Financial Services division, we strive to work collaboratively within our departments and others to provide efficient and effective support to stakeholders.
