The course helps students build career awareness and explore career opportunities after high school, including job-seeking skills and sample resumes. In addition, the course offers a fun and interactive introduction to coding, a skill that will increasingly be a part of everyone’s future.
This course is concerned with the teaching of skills, knowledge, and attitudes through physical activities. The focus is on lifetime activities, social skills, and a positive attitude toward life that results in choosing healthy behaviors. One year of physical education is required in grades 7 OR 8.
