Project Status
UPDATE: The 2019 Bond is building a new Webb Elementary next to the current building on the same site. Once construction of the new building is complete, the old building will be demolished.
Construction is ongoing and nearing two major milestones: close-in and permanent power. Close-in is the point in construction where the roofing, walls and windows are installed and the building is no longer open to the elements. Permanent power is the point where all electrical panels, transformers and related electrical equipment are installed and inspected so that the building no longer needs temporary power. The significance of meeting these milestones is that the air conditioning system can be utilized to dry out the interior of the building allowing the installation of finishes, ceilings and flooring.
Additional work of note is the upcoming installation of playground equipment, demolition of the existing K pod to make way for an additional driveway, and installation of the video monument sign at the front of the school near Cooper Street.
Construction is scheduled to wrap up in the late fall.
