Physical Education/Athletics
This course is concerned with the teaching of skills, knowledge, and attitudes through physical activities. The focus is on lifetime activities, social skills, and a positive attitude toward life that results in choosing healthy behaviors. One year of physical education is required in grades 7 OR 8. Athletics will substitute for P.E.
